About Us

Welspun is a global home textile leader. We lead through product innovation, environmental consciousness and social responsibility.

We are a fully integrated home textile manufacturer—from fiber to finishing—offering products that include bath towels and bath rugs, bed sheets, decorative bedding, robes, comforters, mattress pads and area and accent rugs. With world class facilities based in India, our global reach spans to consumers from almost every corner of the world. Over the course of 30 years, we have grown to be the largest towel manufacturer and a leading supplier to the retailers you know and trust. One in every seven towels in the United States is made by Welspun!

We are passionate about providing consumer-based innovation. Through extensive consumer research, we analyze your needs and then work with our engineers, designers, merchandisers and marketing teams to create exciting new products that bring comfort and efficiency into your life.  We offer unique solution-driven products, such as our patented Hygro Cotton® hollow core cotton that blooms for softness that lasts wash after wash.

We strive to be conscious of our effect on the earth. Our zero discharge manufacturing facilities respect and maintain the ecological balance, while our waste water recycling initiative at Anjar results in the re-use of waste water and the harvest of rain water that provides potable drinking water for the community. Welspun’s tree plantation initiative converts the desert area of Anjar into a lush environment.

We believe in being part of our community. Welspun provides quality education programs in government schools, adult literacy programs, career guidance and counselling, and youth vocational training. We also provide free access to primary health care services through mobile health vans, focus on mother and child healthcare, encourage sanitation and hygiene, and facilitate health camps.

We secure the future by empowering women so they have the ability to sustain themselves and move toward growth and prosperity. Vocational centers have been established to teach women of the villages how to stitch, sew and embroider, allowing them the opportunity to generate income and provide for their family.

Spun, our corporate social initiative project that focuses on Welspun’s commitment to the empowerment of women, education, health and the environment, celebrates the art and history of the artisans of our community through the craftsmanship of handmade products.
